How Does She Do It?

There’s something about her, a certain glow. She’s always been pretty, but now there’s that something extra you just can’t put your finger on. Her face, arms and legs look fantastic. Sure she’s been doing yoga and follows a terrific diet but she’s been doing that for ages. What’s different?

For years, Bonnie had worked on trying to be healthy and looking sharp. She had some successes and some misses (Remember the cabbage soup?!) She read tabloids and tried out the ads but nothing ever gave her that glowing skin she desired. The she met a gal, not much of a looker, but so incredibly confident and with the most beautiful skin. “What kind of foundation do you use?” Bonnie asked. “Oh none,” said the gal.

Her secret was that she finally began working on her skin troubles from the inside out. Sure it makes sense, what we consume can help or harm us – but how many of us think of something as simple as vitamins for healthy skin? We’re often so busy being inundated by ads professing miracle cures and wonder fixes that it’s sometimes difficult to sift through the noise and remember that the little stuff counts quite a bit with our bodies.

So, eat well (no crash dieting to stress your body), consume loads of water, create a physically active lifestyle; pay attention to things that trigger breakouts, be it stress, certain foods, or beauty products. And don’t forget to “feed your skin” the vitamins and minerals it needs to be happy, healthy and glowing.
